Won and lost by not seeing a text?

Yesterday I forgot to take my phone to work and on checking when I got home there was a text from Smooth Radio asking for a convenient time to call about a comp. I texted back but haven't heard anything more so seems it may have gone to someone else

I'd like to think they would give you at least 24hrs or so to reply to a text message, which you did, so hopefully they will still get back to you and it's a nice win for you.

Got a call today, the person who texted was off work yesterday. 

So, a £1000 Sykes cottages voucher.

Only thing is, it means I am not eligible to enter any Global comps for 6 months now as they have the same type of exclusion as Bauer

that you won’t be able to enter any of our competitions for a period of six months if you have either (i) won a prize valued at £1,000 or greater or (ii) won more than one prize during the previous six months.

Congratulations - (if they are applying their exclusion they put it in writing  " if you have either (A) won a prize valued at £1,000 or above, or (B) won more than one prize during the previous six months. If we choose to exercise this right, we will notify you in writing". (probably it's just for some minor prizes they don't apply it)
