SJP pension withdrawal timescales?

Need some advice on how long it takes SJP to get pension lump withdrawals.
The last few times when I have requested withdrawals it has taken anything from 15 to 23 working days to complete. I have had to keep chasing SJP on where the request is in their process and furthermore at finalisation of the process I have to sign a 46 page document before the monies can be released.
Is this normal ?

No, not normal. I did my first UFPLS from my AJ Bell SIPP recently and was astonished how simple and quick it was. All done on line and I had the money within about 3 days.
That said, I did make sure I had liquidated sufficient cash from funds prior to submitting the request.0 -
It's probably normal for SJP. There are unlikley to be many SJP customers on this forum to confirm.1
