Hearing Aids, Oticon, and Television

I bought a pair of Oticon hearing aids a while back, and although they help with the television a bit, the improvement isn't as significant as I'd hoped. I've considered purchasing one of Oticon's TV adapters, but after spending around £4000 on the hearing aids, I'm reluctant to spend an additional £300.

The purpose of this post is to ask if anyone knows of any third-party devices that can provide a similar function to the Oticon TV adapter at a lower cost. Additionally, are there any apps on the App Store that could enhance the sound quality for hearing aid users? Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
