I say I might be made redundant, what I mean is I might be forced into a position where I resign. I doubt I'll be made redundant, I'll be given the option of working miles from home or resigning basically so I don't think a formal redundancy package will be on the cards 

Then stick it out till you know, and at that point, if necessary do as SarahB16 suggests and look for the less stressful but lower paid job as near to where you live as possible to cut travelling costs. Even putting off drawing the DB for 6 months would likely increase it's value in payment
