I have used a few of these through the self serve in Asda and they worked fine until Sunday 13th Jan, after which they would not scan.

Maybe they have put a stop on them despite the expiry date being 31st Jan.

Tesco, Fleetsbridge, Poole accepted the one i'd printed off today.

Just realised I was unusually organised enough to save it into My Documents (I've had it in my purse a week or so) so I'm going to get a couple more before the end of the month.

Asda were annoying about mine too - like I say, the staff act like it comes out of their pockets, the very least get some verification and do it in an unembarrssing way. Not like the amateur teen who thought he could take on a 40something year old woman who has heard it all and has a teen of her own - the stupid child. Supermarkets must be really scraping the barrel and even though costs are being cut to pass onto the customers they can still employ decent people in their supermarkets to make this vile but necessary job more bearable.

They say they can't take photocopies but we can't take our computers and printers to the supermarkets can we.

This is really showing up the stupid people who aren't kept up to speed on these things and making the customer look stupid. If I were Coke and doing this promotion I would be really angry at how the stores are treating their customers.

Ive used these vouchers in Asda at the selfservice its much less hassle than a checkout manned by a jobsworth, but ive noticed that the Asdas by me have covered over the slots where you place the scanned ones with notes saying 'please get assistance before scanning coupons'. As this is the first time ive noticed this i just wandered if they were clamping down on this offer due to abuse, i never use Asda normally so maybe im just getting abit paranoid after being turned down at Tescs with them???

I noticed the same in the Pudsey (West Yorkshire) branch today.

I did not use any though I had several in my pocket. Instead I used a 50p off coupon and even then the assistant checked it and told me that they had too many 'internet only' coupons over the last week or so.

Oh well back to Tescos then....

I tried to use one in tesco today, assistant would not take it, CS manager would not take it, assistant manager would not take it. Despite me trying to explain when they said "you could print 100 of them", that they could claim it all back anyway and i was not asking for 100 only 1 to try. I was then fobbed off with the fact that the coupon said internet only, they took this to mean you could only use it on the tescos onlie store!
