Never heard of them, but a quick Google suggests they're a property development firm.  Looks like you need to have a sizeable chunk to invest, and - by their own admission - it's a high-risk investment.
Where did you "come across" them?  Let me guess, an advert on social media?
I know a few good chandlery shops if you'd like to buy a barge-pole :)

Thanks for the reply . I came across them and met them at an exhibition in London .

Do you have alternative kind of investment in mind please ?

"Investment" is such a massively broad term.  What are your aims - long term or short term ?  How much capital do you have to invest?  Can you afford to lose that capital?  Are you willing to trade the risk of losing everything against the potential of big gains?  Are you looking to retire, in which case you're probably looking more towards small gains but higher security ?
More information required really, before any meaningful advice can be offered - even then, it's likely that a independent advisor may be your best option.

Well that puts loans on a property investment out of the window then.

With no risk to capital you are looking no further than cash deposits - very simply with the highest return you can get.

  • Saving accounts are not giving any good rates now . I m saying that I don't want to take a risk , but not very high .A loan to property developer is still viable but I m not into buy top let anymore .
  • Statutory Demand Served on HJ Collection 2 Ltd for Unpaid Loan Note

I am the Executor of the Estate of Mr. Anthony Grindle, which invested in a Loan Note with HJ Collection 2 Ltd (Certificate No. 634). This Loan Note matured on 23 June 2025 and remains unpaid. As of writing this review, it is now 59 days since the Loan Note matured.

HJ Collection 2 Ltd has been in possession of all required documentation for months, including the Will, Death Certificate, Grant of Probate, and Loan Note Certificate, together with full payment instructions. Despite this, no repayment has been made.

    Timeline of Events

28 April 2025 – Will, Death Certificate, Grant of Probate sent to HJ Collection (for attention of CEO & Director Reece Mennie and admin) with payment instructions.

23 June 2025 – Loan Note matured. No repayment received. No notice of any delay or rollover was ever issued, despite this being a requirement under their own contractual terms.

1 August 2025 – Final Notice of Default served by email (with all documents attached) and by recorded delivery (Royal Mail refs JS117202910GB & JS117202923GB).

7 August 2025 – Read receipt from Shannon Gilbert (HJ Collection) confirms the Final Demand was opened.

11 August 2025 – Deadline under Final Demand expired with no payment.

18 August 2025 – Debt calculated at £18,558.90 (principal £15,000 + contractual interest + bonus + default interest). Default interest continues accruing at approx. £4.62 per day.

18 August 2025 – Statutory Demand formally served by process server at the company’s registered office (One Oaks Court, Borehamwood).

Throughout this process, there has been no meaningful communication from Mr. Reece Mennie or HJ Collection 2 Ltd. On the rare occasions they have replied, they have vaguely claimed that further documents were required — yet no specifics were ever provided. This is a clear stalling tactic, as the company already holds every document legally necessary to validate the estate’s claim: the Will, Death Certificate, Grant of Probate, and Loan Note Certificate.

Unless this debt is settled within the statutory 21-day period, I will proceed to file a Winding-Up Petition against HJ Collection 2 Ltd without further notice
