What roof insulation is acceptable to equity release and mortgage cos?

We have to remove our spray foam but what do we replace it with that will pass the test? Not selling but equity release a possibility in the future.

Typically normal insulation between the rafters at 'floor' level in the roof space is not going to raise any questions.

Are you trying to create a warm roof space by replacing the foam directly with something different?

Where is this insulation? Joists or rafters? If the former, I think it's acceptable. If the latter, you probably need to remove it, but don't have to replace.
