Just had a £30 One4all card declined (online) trying to purchase a £30 John Lewis voucher.

These 'debit card' gift cards are such a waste of time, with the no purchase greater than the card value rule, and the e-gift card workaround is declined at JL. What am I doing wrong?

You are buying their giftcard from Voucher Express rather than John L. They (Voucher Express) don't accept the One4all.2

I see, thanks, even if you don't leave the JL website?Largs said:You are buying their giftcard from Voucher Express rather than John L. They (Voucher Express) don't accept the One4all.0 -
Yes, Ive tried lots of places that take the card, IKEA etc and it's voucher express who seem to handle gift card sales. Previously you could buy from Argos as they do some gift cards online but I think they caught on.1
