Lgps pensions being amalgamated .

As this government has plans to combine all lgps into one enormous scheme to allow for major investments does that mean if they make more profit members will be entitled to a larger pension or an annual bonus . Not holding my breath

Employer contribution rates for LGPS are typically between 20 and 25%. If returns from investments see a marked increase this is where any adjustment would be made.0

No because if the investments made massive losses the pension payments are not going to fall either. The government/local government would have to make up the shortfall.0
