Concessionary mortgage on a non standard construction

Options
Does anyone happen to know of any lenders for non standard construction property Whilst also using a concessionary mortgage for less than 10% discount ? Home report says construction is: The outer walls are of cross wall construction. The front and rear elevations are of K-lath construction and have a rendered and Fyfe stone outer leaf. The gable walls are of timber frame construction and have a mainly Fyfe stone outer leaf.

any lender recommendations appreciated.

It might be worth getting a broker. This seems quite unique, I would be surprised if there are many people in a similar situation.

I wouldnt have a clue personally, it might be worth using a local broker. I would just end up calling through all of the lenders in price order until we get to one that seems ok. I have no idea if that would be the 1st lender or 71st.

Presumably you mean a concessionary purchase; or gifted equity?

What is the location (E, S, W, NI?) and who owns the property as this will have a very large impact on the outcome. Once you have resolved that, you know the pool of lenders open to you re the construction.

Definitely one for a broker as ACG suggested.

    I missed that...
    Fyfe stone

Fyfe is in Scotland - that was my logic. Which makes me feel really thick just saying that. So we will just go with the mention of the home report.

  • Yes so should have mentioned Scotland. House is owned by my mother in law and her siblings. Mortgage broker has tried so many lenders and struggling to find one that will lend on the property
