This has been maintained for over two years with all these sorts of newspapers' offers.
I listed the details of both the Mail and Telegraph offers 4 or 5 days ago - just go to the last page (57)
This took me to another thread that only had 29 pages :rolleyes:Ellie

Just a heads up - looks like we've seen the end of the tokens in the DM for half price books, as it now looks like a token collect:(
Every day for two weeks, the Mail - working with National Book Tokens - will print a special voucher in the paper. Simply fill it in and take it to your local bookshop and you can get our Book of the Month at half the recommended price. (To find your nearest participating bookshop click here)
Boo hoo! Still, it was good while it lasted....0 -
This took me to another thread that only had 29 pages
Well the link IS the correct one AND the LAST page does contain the information as I indicated.
The reason you have ONLY 29 pages is that you do not have the DEFAULT setting for the "number of posts per page"
I presume you have changed it !
If you go to USER CP (Control Panel) and then EDIT OPTIONS, half way down the page is THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS.
The 5th option is NUMBER OF POSTS TO SHOW PER PAGE.
You can select DEFAULT,5,10,20,30 or 40
Probably well over 99% of MSE users will be at DEFAULT (which is 20) unlike your own which will be set to 40!

Actually I think you've been searching the Mail's website and not looked closely enough at what you found.
The "National Book Tokens" link you've provided is to a page that was "Last updated at 17:36pm on 31st August 2004"
And the section you've quoted is from a page titled
Welcome to our brilliant Daily Mail Book Club
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/books/getinvolved.html?in_article_id=315268&in_page_id=1827
This was also "Last updated at 18:09pm on 3rd September 2004"
So to put it in a nutshell - you're over 3 years behind the times and incorrect in your assumption.

OOOh, pardon me for trying to help! Sorry, but I was looking for the web version of the book token (which is actually called the DM book club, by the way)
I don't know how to check the dates on a page, so don't mind you correcting my assumption, but no need to be nasty about it Quoia :A :rolleyes:0 -
I don't know how to check the dates on a page ........
The date is at the top of the page you've quoted from.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/books/getinvolved.html?in_article_id=315268&in_page_id=1827
The time & date is directly below the title "Welcome to our brilliant Daily Mail Book Club"
The same applies to the "National Book Tokens" link. Click on it and it's under the heading "About National Book Tokens"
......but I was looking for the web version of the book token ........
This works every month (well it has in the past and does for this month)
Start at https://www.dailymail.co.uk
Select the BOOKS link from the lefthand column
Select BOOK CLUB link from the lefthand column
(or the link in the righthand column for "this months" (eg JANUARY's) Book Club Choice)
The chosen book is the main article - top of the page in the centre column
Select the article and the Book Token link is within it - usually with other links that allow you to read an extract from the book and see its reviews by several newspaper critics.
