JamDoughnut Gift Card Sharing in Google Wallet

Hi

Anyone know how to share  a gift card in your JamDoughnut account with Google Wallet? It's an Asda one.

I bought an Asda one just a few nights ago and it seems to have changed in that I could no longer add it to G wallet.  I had to keep opening Jamdonut to redeem.

Well previously when I bought a gift card, when you opened it in JamD, a message came up on the screen ADD TO GOOGLE WALLET and I just pressed on the message and it done it.  It worked with Tesco & Asda but not Waitrose.  I've only bought Asda this year so far and its stopped offering to add it. Odd.

Just realised you can add a photo of the gift card and add to wallet that way. If you crop it correctly it will add all the details automatically. Will see how I go on with the bar code.

Yeh didn't work. Asda scanners did not like it and dirty look from assistant when I said the gift card had come from a third party. Will have to stick with using the JamDoughnut app.

Will update thread too if I figure something out.  Why change something that ain't broke?!!!!

Looks like this is Asda rather than the apps as I've just signed upto Cheddar as well and even though it says on their email you can send it to a wallet there's no option. Just had a better experience by using view in browser and going to landscape then zooming in a little. Such fun to be had.

Yes something has changed with the lastest gift cards they are sending out.  If I go into my "archive" on Jamdonut where my spent cards go after use, when I open an old ASDA one, it allows me to add it to wallet.
