We transferred the tax allowance to me some years ago and now want it to go back to my spouse as she is now paying tax. How do I do this please?

You can only change it for future tax years, so important you act in the next few weeks if your wife wants the full Personal Allowance to apply from 6 April 2025.MACKEM99 said:We transferred the tax allowance to me some years ago and now want it to go back to my spouse as she is now paying tax. As your wife transferred it to you she must revoke it. If she signs into her HMRC account she can do it there, on the account home page, it will take effect from the start of the new tax year in April.1
