Hi I am in the latter stages of buying a home and need home insurance.

I have picked up a reasonable quote for home insurance from Aviva.

My solicitor asks me to give evidence that Aviva will contact the lender if my policy is not renewed or cancelled.

Apparently they do not do this. I would have thought Aviva would be acceptable to use in a mortgage application though. It has surprised me.
