Hi I've recently been having a paperwork sort out and have found paperwork from Alliance and Leicester from 2005 with details of life and illness cover for my mortgage that I had forgotten about, obviously Santander took over I have tried calling them and they suggested I try Aviva or Royal London but both say it's nothing to do with them and Santander say the same, so I've no idea if this policy 3ven exists still, anyone any clue or had a similar situation, I'm just going round in circles with to speak to

Life/critical illness cover is an insurance policy. If you're not currently paying for it then the policy would have lapsed.0

Have you checked your bank statements recently and identified what all payments out are for ?1
