    I think that the key thing you need to remember is what happens under PAYE is only ever provisional.

    When you complete your tax return you will include all your taxable income details and PAYE tax deducted and that is all taken into account in your Self Assessment calculation.  If you pay a bit extra under PAYE you will have a bit less to pay under Self Assessment 😉
