NatWest fixed rate mortgage approved - can I change the rate?

We’ve been approved for a new mortgage by NatWest and hope to complete on our new house next month. We paid a £1495 (!!) fee to fix for 5 years.
If Natwest reduce their fixed rates before we complete, are we allowed to move to the cheaper rate?
Thanks for any help. I did ring them but I’m not sure if the lady understood what I was asking and I didn’t get a clear answer.

Yes, you can but do not leave it too late as you need it sorted before your Solicitor calls for funds (get the offer at least 7 working days before completion)I am a Mortgage Broker

Thanks for your reply. Is there any danger they could reassess our application and withdraw the offer? Our circumstances will be the same.0
