PGammage said:On the Future Pensions Center call line (08007310175) they mention "Filling in a form on gov.uk and expressing your wish to pay gaps and this will be honoured even if the deadline passes"
Has anyone any idea of where to find this form. I've searched the entirety of gov.uk till I'm blue in the face and can't find it
I'm sure the recorded message said that you need to log your interest to pay WITH the Future Pensions Centre, I don't think they said there was a form on gov.uk. I thought it was ironic we were trying and failing to get through to them to log our interest and yet they were advising us as if they were directing us elsewhere! The whole system is a mess...on purpose?!1 -
Hi all,
I've managed to find the form:
On gov.uk find the page titled 'Contact the Future Pension Centre'
On this page there is a link saying,' A high number of calls to the helpline is resulting in long wait times. You can ask DWP to call you back to discuss paying voluntary National Insurance contributions.'
You can click on this and find the form that allows you to register interest,
'If you submit a request by the 5 April 2025 deadline, you will still be able to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions after the deadline has passed.'

I am trying to top up national insurance gaps after retirement age. Future Pension Centre won’t take call as already retired - says to call Pension Service, Pension Service won’t take calls on topping up pension - they say call Future Pension Centre!0

The pension service is the correct contact once beyond pension age.0

I have has the same experience as scb898scb. Have been in receipt of pension for nearly 4 years and want to top up the gap years for which there is no on-line process and the telephone call to DWP simply refers back to Future Pensions! I have submitted a call-back request but have no confidence in that working so has anybody yet found a way through to the DWP or FP for retired persons top-up please ?0

Hi Martin.
Calling from Dublin, Ireland on the +44 191 218 3600 number for week. Cannot get through. Used chat GPT to see if it could help and said to phone bang on 8am or between 5-6pm. Still no luck. My wife phoned this morning constantly from 7:55 and was cut off until she hit 8am and the "You've been placed on hold - please wait!". It goes silent for about 2 minutes and then cuts off. Don't suppose you could look into the issue Martin - it's starting to feel like a scam as I sent a lot of money over to fill my pension gap years ;(
Thanks.0
