I have never been told or have I seen written anywhere that Partial Retirement is only available to active members, I have spoken to lots of my colleagues who are all blissfully unaware of this rule too, none of us have ever been told about his.
So what do we call not being given access to the same processes as my colleagues, is it just bad luck because that's not acceptable, if a person has built up a pension pot and wants to use it so they can cut down on the amount of days they work in order to keep working and not have to suffer financially they should be allowed to do that.
Some of us are trying to keep working whilst nursing health issues, I've always worked full time since I was 16 and in some capacity since I was 12 years of age but now I'm beginning to feel the wear and tear, my back has compressed discs at 4 points and my knee hs gone, so Partial Retirement was an ideal solution, but I can't have it apparently.

See my previous posts on this thread. Have you just gone through the MyCSP helpline so far? Similar to many helplines in both private and public sector I suspect they have little or no technical training or experience. I think the norm nowadays is a touch screen process picking up on key words.

In my experience, albeit a few years ago, the email option always seemed to get a more knowledgeable reply. Whether that would be the general address or straight to complaint would be up to you. Hopefully you haven't already exhausted the official complaint channel!!

One caveat, I am not sure whether there would be a difference between an existing civil servant in the Partnership scheme or one not actually in any pension scheme at all.
