Sainsburys Just Dont Default

Hi. Apologies if this is the wrong section. I have been running a successful DMP for nearly 2 years now. All creditors defaulted which I want. But Sainsburys just don't play ball. I phoned them up and requested a default. Which they agreed to. I got a default letter in December.
Its now February and still no default. Even stopped payments to them in DEC/JAN. Still nothing. In fact they have added 100 interest on account. My credit rating is ruined and the file so a default is advantageous to me as I want the debt to disappear from it after 6 years and become salute barred.
Do i just need to wait more, or should i ring them back

Sainsbury's do default - in fact they defaulted me quite quickly pre covid.
I paddled along in a DMP and they sent the account to Capital Resolve who accepted a lower DMP. Then just over a year ago I offered a f&f. They hummed and hawed, asked for more information many times and then handed everything back to Sainsbury's. Sainsbury's have written to me monthly for the last 10 months threatening to default me ( they appear to have forgotten that they already did this in 2021) and asking that I get in touch. I have phoned them several times but to no avail as they appear to have lost my sign in details.
I think their impending sale to NatWest has meant all the good people have left and the remainder haven't got a clue what they're doing.
Sorry I can't be more positive.1 -

A debt that you are paying in a DMP will never become statute barred.

Thanks, Seems like a DMP although good works against defaults and Salute barred. I should have just not paid, Save up in a emergency fund. All would default and work out. I found this Forum after i started a DMP. Phoned Sainsburys up, they say eventually account will default this month or next now.
