Sweatcoin app, worth it?

Hi All,
I recently installed Sweatcoin app on my android phone (after learning about it from an MSE email). It to me feels like an app full of advertisements. The discounts etc it shows are like trial period discounts for new members such as Amazon prime video etc which we can get without Sweatcoin. Apart from that it has unnecessary items with minimal discounts like Smart ring (like smart watch but a ring). The gift cards are like $5 for a lot of sweatcoins so possibly will take 6-9months to get.

So overall I feel it is a waste of time.

Sharing this to find out if anyone here has benefited from sweatcoin? What do others think from the apps experience?

I have it via a health program I'm on, I don't think it offers anything special or better than other apps. My main exercise I don't have my phone on me so doesn't count my high intensity activity.
Rewards wise I've not found anything worthwhile

I doubt many folk would consider this worth bothering with in the context of "Savings & Investments". Thought at first it would be another cryptocurrency scam product.

It generates crypto which may or may not be worth more in the future, but you can swap it for other coins like ETH via the NEAR wallet.
It probably is more hassle than it's worth, but it costs nowt so might be worth a punt.
  • Is it just me? I do read every mse email and have no recollection of this app being recommended by mse.

I'd be quite shocked if it was so I think I would remember.

As I understand it MSE does not recommend, it does however inform the reader.

I was wrong. Although as you say it wasn't recommended.
