Am I missing something?
Isn't the deadline for self-assessment tax return 31st of January? 
Then why is it that I see the following on my page?

  2023 to 2024 tax return due by 6 May 2025.

When did they notify you that you're required to self-assess?  Have you done so before?

Only for some people.

You always have a minimum of 3 months from when the return or notice to file a return was issued to file the return.

This does not change the date any Self Assessment liability is payable though.
