Trouble accessing GU10 bathroom bulb

I am struggling to access thr bulb to replace it. I have just managed to change 8 around the house and this shower room one is causing me a headache.
I have removed the outer chrome ring, and i cant be surenif the whole unit needs replacing or if inshould going at digging at the plastic seal by the indent or if it is a totally sealed unit and i have to replace the lot

Do you have a rubber glove?

Push that against the bulb then turn, anti-clockwise.

    That may(!) do the trick.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

You can get a GU10 removal tool with a suction pad on it, <£5, if the rubber glove trick doesn't work.

+1 for the suction pad thing. My light fitting came with one and it would be impossible to insert or remove a bulb without it.

Cannot be sure about that specific fitting but...

Lighting  requirement for sealing depend upon the zone in the bath/shower room i.e. position. These can range from IP68 rating for wet areas and down the ratings when not immersed or having water jets  IP 67 and then progressively   'farther away'.

If you are not certain about the fittings you have (or if they are damaged) it would be worth it at this time to check and just change for correct fittings. See https://www.thelightingsuperstore.co.uk/bathroom-lighting-zones for an explanation of the regs.

It may be that a highly rated fitting makes bulb removal more difficult to maintain the IP rated sealing than just the push and twist type....

We recently had down lights fitted in a modernised kitchen. They're fire rated and the bulbs are integrated with the fitting.  The whole lot needs replacing. Looks like the shower has similar to prevent fire and or water ingress.
