Affordability checks for a home improvement loan
Hi there
I'm looking to take out a home improvement loan (loft extension) and wondered what the bank will be looking at as I'm both employed and self-employed. In your experience, do they typically require a full tax return to be submitted, or is it just the three months' worth of bank statements/pay checks. Thanks!

If you are self employed they may want to see 3 years audited accounts.
You may get better answers on the mortgage board.1
