Private pension

I took volantary redundancy in 2015 aged 54 from royal mail,and as of today i recieve £727 a month from them.
But checking om my government gateway site,they say im getting £781 a month from rm.
I have no other income till i get my state pension in nov 2026.
My tax code is 1257L
Why are the numbers different?
Want to try here first,as i dont like talking on phone.

Have you checked all the monthly payments they have listed on the tax account?  I think you can amend it yourself but not sure. Have your previous years (+P60s)  been correct?

No i have not. This is the first time iv used it.
How do i do that please?

I was looking at it earlier - said something like "view and update pension" and then there is the option to show each payment

Yes p60s always correct

Went to PAYE, check current tax year, then under pension it said "view or update pension" then "check payments received from...."

so only this year wrong? - if all payments wrong might be a case of emailing the pension provider

And while you are in your GG account have a good look at your state pension forecast.
