Tesco free delivery on wine

Just rang and they said put the order through as normal and get the wine delivered on sunday and ring back monday with the code to get the £20 back..I don't know about that I could be stuck with paying full price for 12 bottles..

Please may I have the £20 code, found some nice cheap wine and would love to try it out, hope it's doesn't taste as bad as the wines I ordered from Virgin. Still got 5 red, might give them to the School Fair.

defo wont let you use thia as delivery is after the code expires and you dont pay intil delivery so no £20 pound codes i think

That's not my understanding. My understanding is that they were trying to combine the £20 off voucher with the free delivery voucher. The £20 voucher hasn't expired yet, but they were unable to book a delivery slot before the free delivery voucher expired

But I could be wrong (I often am!)

Hi,
Called Tesco again and I ordered £51 worth of wine for delivery sunday as the code expires on sunday for £20 off a £50 spend.As my order didn't deduct the £20 off I was told to ring back Monday and give them the code and they would give me £20 back on my credit card.I took the time and guys name...I don't know why they couldn't deduct the £20 at the time of ordering...The code is valid until sunday if anybody is still ordering.

Its a bit of a catch 22 situation,

just tried to use the £20 code
althought the voucher doesnt expire till sunday,
u have to book delivery slots before the 26th of July for the voucher to be valid.....

and there delivery slots starts now on the 27th so really you cant use it

oh well shame...because i was just gonna order
(unless anyone knows a way around this as i still have the code banked?)

When I placed my order it had sunday available so I booked a slot and at the checkout it was saying "sorry this coupon is not valid for this delivery slot"...Thats when I rang tesco as Sunday was available and the voucher has to be used sunday....So give them a ring...Hopefully I will get my £20 refunded on Monday...I told them I wasn't bothered about using the free delivery the £20 voucher was better..Obviously....Let's see how it goes...
