Remortgage process

I'm in the process of going through my very first remortgage. My current deal expires on the 31st of January, so this week, and I'm not sure if I should have had confirmation/any communications from the new mortgage provider/conveyancers to confirm that everything is in order.
I have a mortgage offer from FirstDirect and have submitted everything that the conveyancers (enact) have requested, including the signed deed (that was back in December). That's the last communications I've had from them, saying they had received the paperwork and they'd be in touch if they had any queries.
I tried reaching out via the portal to confirm that everything was in order, but I've heard nothing back.
Am I stressing out over nothing? Does it just happen, at this point?

Remortgages are pretty seamless. If they've everything they need there's no great need for any communication. This week you will receive a completion statement.0

Remortgages are generally much more straight forward than an initial house sale/purchase.
There is very little to do from your side once you have the mortgage offer and have signed the mortgage deed. The solicitors sort the rest of it out.0 -
Thank you for the reassurance! I assumed that was probably the case, but... anxiety was starting to get the better of me.
Thanks!0
