When should i reclaim tax?

I recently worked for a supermarket of Christmas and on my payslip it has the 0T tax code and I've paid tax even though my earnings for the year are well under the threshold.
I just wondered when i should reclaim the tax? Do i do it at the end of the tax year or can i do it now?

This would get a better answer in cutting tax.

You need to do it before the end of the tax year or wait till HMRC get round to it mid next tax year.
