How much can I pay into SIPP this year / last year?

Hi
This year I have stopped working and am currently living off savings (53M). I have earnt £10,000 PAYE in 24/25 and will not earn anything more and therefore will not pay any tax (I've already reclaimed it with a P50). I've had a little windfall and would like to top up my pension to make best use of tax relief
So firstly, how much am I allowed to pay into my SIPP this 24/25 year in total and still get the 20% automatic tax relief?
And a second part to this question ... I earnt £36,000 PAYE 23/24, am I able to carry forward any allowance I didn't use that year and get the 20% tax relief? Is there any process for this, or do I just pay it into my SIPP account, my provider applies the 20% tax relief and if its ever queried, I just show my workings?
I know that I will have to take into account money I and my ex-employer have already paid into my workplace pension for those years, but once I've figured out if it's worth it, I'll look up my records and do the maths to deduct those amounts.
Many thanks for any info ...

1) £10K gross less your gross contributions to the employment pension2) No unless you earn enough this year to accommodate the carry forward.1
