If I paid the arrange fee for a mortgage but then do not take the mortgage out should I get a refund on the fee?
I can’t find terms and conditions surrounding it on the NatWest website

The Terms & Conditions will be important as the deciding factor.Buyinganewhouse said:If I paid the arrange fee for a mortgage but then do not take the mortgage out should I get a refund on the fee?

Thinking about it in purely lay-person terms. The arrangement fee is a charge for the bank to arrange something. If you pay the fee and they do the arranging, you have received the service requested. It would then be your choice if you don't proceed, but all the work in the arranging has been done so it seems reasonable that the fee is still due.0
