I can't deal with it mentally. It's too damaging to my self esteem to be sacked. It's pay day on Wednesday.
They might withhold my wages as I haven't turned up this week. I just can't face going back there. My mental health is more important to me.

Call in sick tomorrow, that at least means you don’t have to deal with calling to resign immediately before going for the interview. Get a Dr’s appointment for later in the day (if your surgery is like most then calling or going there at 8am should mean you can get a same day emergency appointment) and get signed off for the remainder of the week - that is your pay safe to the end of the month so one month’s bills you don’t have to fret about. What you do from there is then at least done with the benefit of safeguarding your position a bit. You have literally nothing to lose by taking that approach.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
