So very quick maths suggest that if you work 36 hours a week at £11.44 your gross pay for the week is £414.84

£411.84* 52 week = £21,415.68 so a month would be £1784.64 which is obviously higher than you have been receiving.

I would definitely be speaking to HMRC about this.

and working on that basis the Tax & Ni should be about £200 a month which brings you down to about £1500 - do it could be your employer is deducting tax & not but not reporting it?

I forgot to mention, I checked HMRC PAYE and the last contribution registered is for my old job. 3/4 years ago..
This is more worrying than not being on companies house.

You should demand to see payslips and P60s. These are legal requirements.

You're not building qualifying years for your state pension. Which you should be as an employee.

Get all your bank statements together as well showing all the payments go into your bank. Keep these safe if needed for hmrc

Do you have an auto enrolment pension set up by the employer? I thinking not, which is also illegal
