Problems with 60 plus oyster card

My card ran out in May but I had no correspondence from TFL about this in any form and they now tell me I have to apply for a new one at a cost of £20 . I have tried to do this but when they want my driver licence number I have five letters and numbers when they only want 3 and only let me put in 3, so I rang them again and they said try again but now they won't accept my passport number either it keeps saying I have not put it in when I have. Though as I tried all combinations of my 5 letters numbers on my licence I do not expect to be able to verify it, I tried to say verify it later bur then they get ne to download a letter where the tell me to take all this to a post office in London. I am on holiday in Dorset till Saturday but do have bills for my home address with me so do not see why I can't take it all to a local post office in Dorset.

I'd be astonished if a Dorset post office would know how to process documents for a travel card that's only valid in London. Just do it when you get back to London.SMEE1V1CARAGE said:My card ran out in May but I had no correspondence from TFL about this in any form and they now tell me I have to apply for a new one at a cost of £20 . TFL does require a £10 renewal fee each year anyway even if you don't let it lapse. TFL has only ever had passport details from me. I don't have a driver's licence.SMEE1V1CARAGE said:My card ran out in May but I had no correspondence from TFL about this in any form and they now tell me I have to apply for a new one at a cost of £20 .
