Is there always an interview with OR?

I went BR by my own application on the 8th of January 2025, but have not been invited to interview with the OR.
I’ve agreed and signed an IPA via email - which is an NT tax code only for the remainder of the tax year, and the same for council tax as I have no spare income. I’ve also given an account of when and how my financial difficulties began via email and answered questions about outgoings etc.
I have no assets and rent my home. I’ve also received an email stating that I can buy back my life insurance policy if I wish.

I’ve also been copied in to a letter to by bank telling them they can unfreeze my bank account, but was advised to open a basic bank account elsewhere, so I’ve done that.
I’ve read that an interview is normally arranged within 10 working days of going bankrupt, which is today, but as per the above, I’ve not had anything through.
Is it likely that I’ll get an invite through after the 10 days, or could it be the case that the OR has everything they need? I’m checking my inbox every 30 minutes at the moment.
Like most people that have gone through this, my anxiety levels are pretty high right now, so I’m trying to get understanding of what might happen next.
Any insight or advice would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

I think you're good to go. All boxes are ticked and you've obviously returned everything they ask for.
Unless anything changes I'd say that's it1 -
Based on your circumstances, the OR is not going to spend time (money) exploring your case in detail. You are OK.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1 -
I went BR in January 2023, and literally the only contact I had from the OR was an email a couple of days after my application with the various forms and letters which needed electronic signature, and copies of the letter to my bank.
I signed them online, and had a letter from the bank a week or so later confirming they’d unfrozen my account.
No IPA, no interview, no NT code, that was it.Debts weren’t massive, probably £25k or so. Low income supplemented with UC so at the time I didn’t pay tax.A year later I emailed to request a copy of the discharge paperwork and moved on with my life. I’m now in a much better position, working full time again and with a small amount of savings. I have access to some credit although only use a card for day to day spending and pay in full to help reestablish some positive history. No intention of getting into any kind of debt now I’m finally free.
Hope yours is as smooth and painless.1 -
Thank you all for taking the time to reply. That’s put my mind at ease, so I guess it’s a case of waiting for discharge to roll around and let the clean slate begin. Thanks again0
