  • Try www.lookyourbestuk.com So much information, and surgeons on the site.
  • I have been looking at gynacomastia surgery as I have recently lost lots of weight and I would like to feel more comfortable. As this is a fairly personal surgery I have been doing lots of research and feel quite misled by some cosmetic surgery sites claiming to be unbiased only to push you into an expensive clinic. I have found a couple of decent sites one of which is pretty honest in its assessments of surgery such as breast augmentation. The guide to male breast reduction is pretty thorough too...

Surgicare is pretty good too but be aware that they are trying to sell you something.
  • I went with Beauty in Prague for a facelift and tummy tuck last year. It was the best thing I have ever done. I was nervous as anything about the whole thing, but nothing compares to the plastic surgeon (Dr Ales Nejedly), apartment and service, and the whole experience.

It has changed my life and it was the best thing i have ever done. From my experience, I met over 10 happy clients in town wtih Beauty in Prague, so can't beat that. :T

  • If anyone is thinking about going abroad for surgery Free Spirit's Travel for Treatment (0845 260 1543) gave me a good quote for travel insurance for surgery abroad - I choose them because they cover you if you get complications for your surgery abroad!

    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
