"Local eBay Deals Mapper" doesn't work for 'Search Anything'

I used to use the "Local eBay Deals Mapper" on moneysavingexpert all the time to see what was available in my area regardless of category by leaving the "What would you like to buy?" section blank. Now it demands I put something in there or select a category.
Has it changed or do I need to put something specific instead?

Thanks Rantband but that doesn’t answer my question. 

I used to be able to leave both the 'Item' and ‘Category' fields empty to see EVERYTHING that was available in my area. 

Now it won't allow me to leave both fields empty.

Ebay have changed the way that the system MSE integrates with works. Our team are going to look again at what can be done to make the search more flexible, but it won't be a quick fix I'm afraid.

Probably best to keep further comment on the other thread, so that it's all in one place and easy for colleagues to review.
