£20 off OP,£70 roughly left now.
just realised it’s July end of fix date not May so my expectation of paying mortgage of May is not going to happen now.
so
countdown is extended and now over 190 days off so won’t start that countdown until I get to 100 days.
i am starting my decoration of house this week and im on filing duty today, how exciting, might get bathroom ceiling done.
im dreading it a bit as i need a total reorganise in different rooms and not sure how to start.
trying to get my head around it.
if I start in bathroom that’s easier.
right time to get going and get working.

So bathroom ceilings done, moved in to next room but this one is a big project as I want to paint pine furniture white, have started but ran out of paint today and need to get some sanding sheets for electrical sander, I’ve been doing it by hand and I’m fed up already.

got drawers to do yet, I’ve bought some new knobs to add a bit of glam😀
I might need glass for top as i think the chalk paint might wear off top easily if not.
im going to take items out and store in lounge as i go then I’ll decorate room before putting them back, really want some fitted wardrobes in there to but got to play around with the room configuration a bit as its a long room

Had a busy day today, saw a friend, took security pass into work for last day, dropped Vinted sale off at PO, got £40 for some doc martins which killed me, can’t wear them so giving up on wearing them. Then Did weekly shopping. Was really good, no chocolate or sweets, lots of fruit and healthy options.
had some homemade soup for lunch and made a apple cake for later and rolls, busy busy day, felt productive and made some cash, maybe enough for some furniture paint??

Finished my project, this used to be a brown pine dressing table, really pleased with how it turned out, new knobs made loads of difference too.
still deciding wether to paint desk or just sell it then get something smaller, as it’s clunky.
sold 3 things on Vinted.
hubby’s old tuxedo (only worn once, kept in suit cover for about 20yrs 😛
got a £10
sold my dc martins for £40
quiz bag£3, dress £5.50
so not too bad.
things definitely sell better if you show them on.
must put some more things on later, im on a roll.
have some nice dc martini sandals on, expect they will go soon as they sell well.
so I was supposed to meet friend and collect her, take her in city but we have a road closed near here at moment which adds about 10miles on that journey so have postponed.
just as well as I now have to wrap Vinted stuff, take that to local post office.
dejunking desk and preparing to decorate room.

thanks, Vinted seems all or nothing, put some more things on and getting stupid low offers, I just don’t think it worth the hassle £4 and they want to give £2, the shoes are immaculate, worn once so i would rather put them in charity shop TBH
I DONT MIND knocking 50p off but half is just funny.
Anyway I’ll keep going as a couple things might go, might take sandals off until spring as i don’t think people can think about summer yet as it is so grey.
Saw a friend today but back on the decoration bus tomorrow, not looking forward to doing ceiling as it’s a big room to paint 🙄

sold some more stuff on Vinted.
Really positive feedback so far so that’s good.
Will post today.
Using £ to pay bits off credit card.
Used Tesco voucher today to get chef and brewer vouchers for tonight’s meal out with friends.
I got them on the voucher journey
He had a credit card with no perks so he now uses Tesco card.
I also used Amex card to buy 2x airport passes for our March trip to Florida, treat ourselves to a nice pre trip experience.
Then after initially being disappointed I couldn’t use my Amex card to buy tui holiday i tried to pay by Apple Pay for final deposit. Thinking I’ll give this a shot and Apple Pay worked, hurray, I’m paying for rest of trips this way from now on. I have savings for holidays but extra points is all good and helps me towards my total to secure the introductory bonus points.
Shopping for Ikea furniture today and will use Amex for that too so will be well on way to spend required amount.
