LPA
Hi, I am preparing an LPA and wish to appoint my civil partner as my attorney and two friends as replacement attorneys. I want my partner to be able to make all decisions alone but if is subsequently unable to do so, I want the two replacement attorneys to act jointly on all decisions. The online form seems to only allow all attorneys to be joint or joint and severally? Am I missing something? TIA Pol

As you only have one main attorney, you select the ‘I only appoint one attorney’ in section 3, and put the two back-up attorneys in section 4. By default they have to act jointly.0
