Hey all.
My sister-in-law has received an invoice from UKPC which has gone to the LBC stage, but she has received one on 11th December from Moorside and then a second from dcblegal on the 6th January. (both of which I've got her to respond with the newbies template)
Is this normal behaviour? At what point does the direction of multiple letters of claim in short succession become harassment ?

Most unusual. Both with the same PCN number? Check them carefully.1

No mention of the PCN number on the letters, but both from UKPC:

In this situation do nothing and let them both issue a claim.2

Agreed. Then show us the POC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nothing from Moorside as yet, but I've just noticed the sign and there is a very small mention of the charge:1

Issue date 11th MarchWith a Claim Issue Date of 11th March, you have until Monday 31st March 2025 to file an Acknowledgment of Service('AOS'), but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an AOS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an AOS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 14th April 2025 to file a Defence. That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the AOS guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an AOS, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an AOS has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2 -

Current status is that the claim via DCB legal has been filed, acknowledged and defended and awaiting an invite for an N180 and a mediation meeting.
Claim from Moorside have responded twice to our LBC response with very similar letters threatening to file a claim with CNBC - no actual claim as of yet.1 -
So the Moorside one is a case involving a different Claimant, I assume. When that claim form arrives, start a new thread for that one. Needs to be separate.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
