Paying self assessment bill

in Cutting tax
In previous years when I had tax to pay as a result of self assessment it was taken via my PAYE code. This year the amount was too much for that to be done, and I have to pay the amount due by direct payment to HMRC.
I wondered how long it normally took for such a payment (by bank transfer as requested on the form) to show up as having been paid. There's hardly been time for it to be recorded yet, but I'ld like to know as soon as I can.

Mine usually shows on my online account 3-4 working days after I have made the payment.1

I paid by telephone on Friday afternoon 10 January by debit card and it came out of my Current Account today. My HMRC account, this afternoon, still says: "You need to pay £xxx.xx by 31 January 2025. I expect it will show on my HMRC account soon.0

I used faster payments from my Lloyds account on Friday, today it is showing as having been received in my HMRC account.0
