Some details of the letter please.
Who sent it , what exactly does it say?If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
And you need to check all three of your credit records. Can be done for free.
The debts you accrued when you bought on credit will have been sold on, perhaps many times.
This may be a pure scam.
There's also a little trick that some debt collector's use. They buy very old debt that cannot be pursued in court and hope people don't know. And try to get someone (not necessarily the right person) to pay out.
Even though if they went to court, they'd be thrown out.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1 -
Who is the letter from? what company?
What is the debt they are chasing, and how much in total, as you gave two figures?
