DS hands down! I bought one the same time as my boyfriend and I play on it constantly! Mine's about a year old. Games can be cheap online, and Blockbuster usually have DS's in stock, and you can part-trade with DVDs or other games .... happy playing!

    DS is king.
Hardware is only as successful as the software available for it. DS gets more shelfspace in the shops than PSP.
Plus an R4 Revolution makes it useful for so much more, such as MP3 player etc.

  • Kids love the DS, I love the PSP why?......GTA.

Though mine's running on 3.52 M33-4 Firmware if I was shelling out full price I might change my mind ;)

I prefer the PSP for the quality of the graphics and sound but the DS is more playable as the games are not as big as the PSP games.

Im running a modded firmware on my PSP and a 4GB memory stick but have a huge collection of UMD games also. Im not sure about getting 12 games on a 4GB MS.

My DS has an R4 and a 2GB card your talking 50+ games on that. I proberlby pick up the DS more than the PSP for a quick game of bomberman or tetris but if im want to play anything decent long term games its the PSP for stuff like GTA.

We have 5 psp in the house, dh and all 4 kids have one and they love them.
The 3 boys had DS`s but since getting the psp`s they are now selling their ds`s on ebay.
We have kept one ds as i love the brain training, but even my 5 yr old loves her psp, uses it for games, but mainly for films at the minute and music, she also loves the fact she can take her fav photos on the psp to show friends and family.

So i love both consoles, but the psp is a mp3 player, portable dvd, portable photo storage and games console..wins hands down in my opition.

The PSP is the all rounder, music, videos, games, internet (sort of) and better graphics.

But the DS has some games that others dont like brain training its adictive.

just depends what you want to do with it I would go for the PSP

Depends how big the games are once you have downloaded them and then compressed them all , most of our games can be made quite small , don't understand it all as OH does all the downloading and downgrading etc . However at the moment I have loaded on my 4gb stick , Sega Rally , Shrek Smash and Crash , Thrillville , Diner Dash , Mind Quiz , Lego Star Wars , some other racing car game , Tomb Raider , Grand Theft Auto Liberty City and Grand Theft Auto Vice City.

Also another thing is you can connect to the internet on the PSP as well , just another thing that to me makes it much better than the DS .

DS hands down, for me anyway. I'm 28 and I love mine. All my friends have them too.

Get an R4 or an M3 and it can do everything the PSP can do, films, music, pictures. Also DS browser for the internet. And all without messing about with the firmware. And it's cheaper than the PSP.

Only difference is the PSP's better/bigger screen.
