Where is a good place to get a decent single duvet i.e with goose feather and down. Anyone know if there is a sale on anywhere or will I just have to get it from argos that cost £30 for the single 15 tog.

£30 seems pretty cheap to me if its a good "proper" goose feather and down.

I have always preferred feathers to synthetic cos I like my downie to cosy round my neck but having said that I bought a synthetic one for the summer 4 tog and you know they really are almost as good as a feather one. You can buy synthetic very cheap in Argos and Tesco have a "value" one.

I placed an order with empire catalgue for the 13.5tog duvet. Cost £59.99, got it down to £34.99 with £25 off code posted on the online voucher forum. So I hope I got a decent duvet for a very good price

Ikea has a promotion from 20th October to 1st November: double quilt 85% duck feather/15% duck down, 13.5 tog 200x200cm at £19. This is featured in their catalogue, page 5. I'm not sure if the single size is discounted as well during that period.

i bought the goose feather & down duvet for £40 from argos today. it is LOVELY & well worth the money. lxdirect are selling the fogarty ones for 25% more than argos

debenhams have a half price sale on at the moment & they are selling the duck feather duvet for £35 (online & instore) but to be honest the argos one is far superior.

you don't always get what you pay for!
