in Cutting tax
I'm currently doing my tax self-assessment and trying to work out where to claim for expenses related to my work uniform (NHS) - can anyone provide further information? The help pages at HMRC are no help! I don't know how much I can claim and where to enter it in my self-assessment.

The uniform laundry allowance for a health care worker is £125 per year.
If you haven't claimed before, you can claim for the current tax year and four previous tax years.
You may be eligible to claim tax relief on:- RCN / Unison / Unite membership fees- NMC or NISCC registration fees- uniform purchases (including shoes, socks and tights) = £18 per year- your Nursing Standard subscription if RCN member1
