Bissell Carpet Shampoo ??

Just purchased a Bissell proheat Carpet cleaning machine.

Currys was £300 knocked down to £200

Used it to clean the stair carpet and landing and as the stairs were high traffic and needed really good clean, the shampoo went like a flash, so inorder to not run out I adjusted the machine to normal rather than high traffic, so the shampoo lasted longer but this didnt really do a good job as I suppose high traffic areas need to have the machine set to high traffic and that means the shampoo will not last.


So after all that, what Im asking is does any one one know of any offers or deals on the bissell shampoo's as I cant afford to buy them at normal price and need a good few bottles..:huh:

Have the same machine and have bought the shampoo from Makro, however, you need to either have a trade card or know someone who has.

I use the astonish carpet 3 in 1 machine shampoo in my bissel works well and available for £1 in £ shops etc

Bissell do a reconditioned section in their website and its cheaper by quite a lot for all kinds of machines

I've used this seller on eBay without any problems in the past although I tend to use the shampoo without the scotchguard.

Ever tried sugar soap? the stuff used for wallpaper stripping. I spilt some diluted on the capet by mistake without noticing till the next day and it was as new.

we have had a bissell cleaner for about 5 years and have always used the vax shampoo. tesco sell it for £2.29 a bottle.

The cleaner has been to loads of relatives and friends and (fingers crossed) still works like new, just remember to clean it properly.
