    You're missing the point. They'd be fools for giving you an unsecured loan, because then they have no way of recouping the money other than taking you to court. And as a Polish person, well, good luck chasing that debt.

    If it was a secured loan then it's just a mortgage. But UK banks won't lend on foreign properties because it's a !!!!!! trying to get their money back if the borrower defaults.

    At best you could remortgage your UK property but that won't give you the full funds you need.
