I need a nail file which gets to work with a vengeance. Something which abrades nails QUICKLY and doesn't result in having to spend hours on my nails. I need it for shortening and not shaping.
It's amazing how all the online information virtually talks around this. Almost goes out of its way to avoid the subject, as if there was really no such thing.
Can anyone offer a recommendation from personal experience which actually works? Forget emery and sand boards of any description. For me, a total and utter waste of space.

For shortening why use a file at all rather than nail clippers ?0

Crystal nail files, from reputable brands anyway. But for speed, clippers then finish off with a file to smooth them out.1
