I’d be moving away from SJP as long as there are no exit charges. Have they been completing annual reviews for you?
Yes - reviews have been largely annual - i say largely as being a friend of the family other than more often than not became a discussion about family events! When i look at the growth of the capital pot, after income, it is quite a bit less than the 3 ISA funds i have so not sure their 'extra' management of the capital has added value (however i do take into account that my ISAs are in more risky investment funds (Fundsmith).
Your experience sounds similar to mine with a “wealth management “ company (not SJP).

They used some online risk questionnaires, produced a 20 page report which had several errors in it and recommended an off the peg L&G S&S ISA.

This ISA’s past performance numbers were very similar to a Vanguard product which I was already invested in. Trouble is that for their product I would have been paying  a one off fee, ongoing service charge and DFM/platform fee to Quilter.

That was the trigger for me to start DIYing. You could pick off the shelf solutions from most providers much cheaper and better than SJP’s.

If you’re not confident then a smaller independent IFA could be helpful, but they’re hard to find these days.
