Hi both. Thanks for your advice. My DMP is indeed with a charity.

In terms of missing the payment, I’ve missed one as I was on a zero hour contract but now I have a proper contract so it should not happen.

I know none of you can give me a definitive answer but if my DMP gets stopped, what are the chances of my creditors just demanding that I pay the whole amount in one go? I fear getting a CCJ or them bankrupting me as that would erase all of my progress.
There's no reason why this should have an effect on a dmp, which is an informal arrangement. Even if it did, you can set one up yourself or go with another fee-free provider.

Creditors are still getting paid so again there is no reason for them to get aggressive or start a court claim

If the creditors ask for all the money in one go then say no. No is indeed a sentence all on its own, and in that circumstance could be very well applied! It's not going to happen though - honestly!

Great that you are with a charity at the moment, that's always reassuring to hear with the number of sharks out there charging people for doing DMPs!

If the original creditor is unhappy with the payment amount they will just sell it to a DCA. DCAs buy debts as an investment at a fraction of their value. Their aim is to make an overall profit from what people pay them without too much effort , not to chase every single debt as hard as they can. If they did try for a CCJ then the court would only set payments at what you could afford, the DCAs know that and wouldn't want to waste their time in most cases.

I can give you a 100% definitive answer on this.

Absolutely nothing will happen, you are way out there in your overthinking of this tiny infraction, they won`t know, and they won`t care if they did, you are dealing with computers, not people.

Creditors demands are of little or no concern to anyone, DMP`s are not just stopped, no one turns down money, you really should do your due diligence on this as your worries are so left field, non of your fears bear any resemblance to the reality of your situation, just carry on as normal and stop worrying about things that are never going to happen.
