Just do what you think you need to do, don`t look for approval from them or anyone else.

Wescot are calling daily (I know it’s automated) for a debt still to default…Arc are too but for a defaulted Debt.

i have blocked the numbers but the keep getting into my voicemail (no msg left).

From experience, how long will this first phase last before they give up and pass it back?

So, finally the HSBC default is showing on my credit file - I will start paying Wescot by SO...do I just set it up for say £10 a month or do I need to write to inform them what I intend to pay - I am looking to do similar with my other defaults - however with those that I have open affordability complaints, should i hold off paying - the debts will still stand, just looking at interest to be removed

Personally at this point I would pay them all, it wont affect the chance of winning an affordability complaint and it keep things nice and simple.

No, you don't need to write to them, just make sure you quote their reference on the Standing Order. Make sure you pay each in proportion to the debt - Don't pay them all the same unless it's a very small token amount.

I would tell them just to get them off your back and stop pestering you. It's normally very easy to do by email or their website.
